ANTIOXEΩN - KAΛAΣ Eagle, wings closed, standing left; to left, winged kerykeion; all within maeander pattern. Thonemann Group B, 12a (O13/R27). Extremely rare, the fourth and finest known example. A magnificent piece, beautifully toned and with a bold and impressive head of Zeus. Minor porosity, otherwise, extremely fine.
