A very attractive piece, with a ferociously looking Pan. Minor pitting on the obverse and with a light scratch on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.


The facing head of Pan on this coin is a real masterpiece, showing a wildness and ferocity that mirrors the proximity of its polis to the savage Skythian tribes, at the edge of the known world.
