SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Von Aulock, Pisidien II, 1809 (1 specimen, same dies). Of the highest rarity, apparently the second and by far the best example known. A well struck and perfectly centered medallion with an intriguing and most attractive reverse scene. Minor smoothing, otherwise, good very fine.

In Themian games, winners were awarded cash money or precious objects rather than the more common wreaths or olive oil.
