Herennius Etruscus, as Caesar, 249-251. Aureus (Gold, 19 mm, 3.44 g, 6 h), Rome. Q HER ETR MES DECIVS NOB C Bare-headed and draped bust of Herennius Etruscus to right, seen from behind. Rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS Herennius Etruscus, as prince of the youth, standing front in military attire, head to left, holding signum in his right hand and spear in his left. Calicó 3312 (but with a photograph of a coin of Hostilian in error). Cohen 32. RIC 148. Beautifully struck and with a charming portrait. A few light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
