A very rare tetradrachm of Antiochos Hierax from Alexandria Troas

SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos Hierax, circa 242-227 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.67 g, 12 h), Alexandria Troas. Head (of Antiochos Hierax?) to right, wearing winged diadem. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, monogram of AP; to right, monogram of ΩM; in exergue, horse grazing left. SC -, cf. 879.4 (position of reverse monograms switched). Very rare and with a superb portrait. Minor flan faults and somewhat rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
