BRITAIN. Trinovantes & Catuvellauni. Tasciovanus, circa 25-10 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 5.42 g), Warrior (Trinovantian N) type. Two crossed wreaths, one curved, with two back-to-back crescents at center; stylized faces in angles. Rev. T-AS-C Warrior, holding carnyx, on horseback right; wheels in fields. ABC 2565. SCBC 217. Van Arsdell 1730-5. Sharply struck on a full flan and very attractive, an excellent example. A few light marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
