SICILY. Segesta. Circa 440/35-420/16 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 8.50 g, 7 h). The river-god Krimisos, in the form of a hunting dog, standing left. Rev. Head of the nymph Aigeste to left, her hair bound with a ribbon, wearing earring and necklace. Hurter Period III, Series 6, 107 (V33/R60). SNG ANS 629. Winterthur 833. A beautiful coin of very attractive style. Minor roughness, otherwise, good very fine.
