LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 454-428/7 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.52 g, 7 h). Forepart of a boar to right. Rev. Head of a roaring lion to right within linear square within incuse square. Bodenstedt 41. SNG Copenhagen 309. SNG von Aulock 1694. A fresh and very sharply struck example. Minor scrape on the obverse and with a thin scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
