A beautifully engraved piece with three impressive imperial figures. Adjustment marks as made and with some scratches, otherwise, good very fine.




The three emperors engraved onto the obverse of this impressive weight are Valentinian II, Theodosius I and Gratian, whose joint rule dates to 379-382, or more likely Valentinian II, Theodosius I and Arcadius, which would date the piece to 383-392.
