Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 23.13 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 129-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. FELICITATI AVG / S - C / COS III P P Galley sailing left, with steerman and five rowers; at stern, acrostolium, at prow, mast slanted forward. BMC 1296 var. (5 rowers). Cohen 667. RIC II, Part 3, 1285. A very attractive example with a lovely reverse. Minor corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
