SPAIN. Albatha. Circa 2nd century BC. AE (Bronze, 18 mm, 4.13 g, 12 h). Head of Hermes to left, wearing winged petasos. Rev. 𐤏𐤋𐤐𐤕𐤀 - 𐤀𐤕 (' 'lpt' - 't ' in Neo-Punic) Kerykeion. MAA 62 corr. (as 'Alipota' in North Africa and obverse described as female head). SNG Copenhagen 49 corr. (as 'Alipota' in North Africa and obverse described as female head). Extremely rare. Somewhat rough and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
