A very rare Celtic drachm imitating Rhode

CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 4.43 g), imitating Rhode. Celticized head of Persephone to left, wearing wreath of grain leaves and triple pendant earring. Rev. Rose seen from above, with a large central pellet and divided into four segments by a cross with floral pattern. Flesche -. LT 2325. SLM 63. Very rare and unusually attractive. Slightly porous, otherwise, good very fine.
