SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos VI Epiphanes Nikator, circa 96-94 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 16.16 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Kalykadnos. Diademed head of Seleukos VI to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΣEΛEΥKOΥ - EΠIΦANOΥΣ / NIKATOΡOΣ Athena standing front, head to left, holding Nike in her right hand and resting her left on shield set on ground; behind, spear; to outer left, flower; to inner left, ΦI AN. Houghton, Seleucia on the Calycadnus, 51. SC 2405.4. A fresh, sharply struck and very attractive piece. Minor deposits, otherwise, good extremely fine.
