Head of Athena to right, wearing single-pendant earring, necklace and crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla throwing stone; to right, EY. Rev. ՒHPAKΛEIΩN Herakles standing right, strangling the Nemean lion; to left, AΠΟΛ and club; below, oinochoe. HN Italy 1378. SNG ANS 66. Van Keuren 51. A beautiful and sharply struck piece of fine style. The reverse a bit rough, otherwise, good extremely fine.
