KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 11 mm, 2.09 g, 11 h), Pella, struck under Philip II or Alexander III, circa 340-328. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Bow above club; above, kantharos. Le Rider 57 (D34/R32). A lovely and well centered example. Very fine.
