AEOLIS. Myrina. Circa 160-143 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.70 g, 1 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. MΥΡINAIΩN Apollo Grynios standing right, holding laurel branch in his left hand and patera in his right; at his feet to right, omphalos and amphora; in field to left, monogram of ΑΡ; all within laurel wreath. Sacks Issue 25. A nicely toned and attractive piece. Minor areas of flatness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
