ATTICA. Athens. Circa 455-449 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.24 g, 10 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group V.B. A bold and attractive coin struck in very high relief. Light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
