KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 11 mm, 2.15 g, 6 h), Pella, struck under Philip II or Alexander III, circa 340-328. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Bow above club; below, trident right. Le Rider 81 (D51/R38). A few minor scrapes on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
