ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 35 mm, 16.85 g, 12 h), 147/6. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. A-ΘE / ΑΔ/EI - ΗΛ/ΙΟ Owl standing facing on Amphora; to left, ΠΡ/Ο; to right, trident; on amphora, Γ; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 124d. An attractive example struck on a broad flan. Minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
