A very rare tetradrachm from Antioch ad Maeandrum

CARIA. Antioch ad Maeandrum. Circa 90/89-65/60 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 29 mm, 16.37 g, 12 h), Diotrephes, magistrate for the third time. Laureate head of Apollo to right with bow and quiver over his shoulder. Rev. ANTIOXЄΩN - ΔIOTPЄΦΗΣ / TO TPITON Zebu bull standing left, head facing; all within maeander pattern border. Thonemann (forthcoming) Group A, 2 (O3/-). Very rare. A bold and attractive example with a lovely head of Apollo. Light doubling and minor porosity on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
