An extremely rare 'Neutra' type tetradrachm

CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 9.93 g, 6 h), 'Neutra' type. Celticized stag standing right; above, rectangular ornament; below, crescent ornament. Rev. Celticized wolf (?) standing right; above, zig-zag pattern between lines; below, curved line. Dembski - (cf. 780-1: stag left). Dessewffy pl. XXIV, 566. Flesche -. Lanz -. OTA 400/2. SLM -. Extremely rare. Beautifully toned and in exceptional condition for this issue. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die and with minor flan flaw, otherwise, about extremely fine.
