A very rare 1/4 stater from the Helvetii

CELTIC, Central Europe. Helvetii. Late 2nd to early 1st century BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 15 mm, 1.95 g, 7 h), Horgen type. Celticized laureate head of Apollo to right, the hair in curls with a strand falling loose before the forehead. Rev. Celticized charioteer driving biga to left, holding kentron in his right hand and reins in his left; below, bird-like animal with the coiled body of a serpent ('Rolltier'); in exergue, [...]ΠTΠO. Allen, SNR 53 (1974), pl. 14, 130 ff. (same dies). DT 3059 (same dies). HMZ 1-20. SLM -. Very rare. A beautifully struck and unusually complete example. A few scrapes, otherwise, good very fine.
