CYPRUS. Salamis. Evagoras II, circa 361-351 BC. 1/12 Stater (Gold, 9 mm, 0.72 g, 11 h). Turreted head of Aphrodite to right, wearing pendant earring. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing laureate and crested Corinthian helmet. Markou 383 (this coin, D4/R3). SNG Copenhagen 52. Zapiti & Michaelidou 18. Rare. A sharp and attractive example. Very light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
