PHILISTIA (PALESTINE). Uncertain mint. Mid 5th century-333 BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.54 g, 6 h). Hybrid head of a bearded male to right and a youth facing, with oriental hairstyle. Rev. Prancing horned lion-like animal seated right, with wing ending in bovine's head; all within dotted square within incuse square. Gitler & Tal XXVII.1O. Very rare. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
