SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos VII Euergetes (Sidetes), 138-129 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.00 g, 1 h), uncertain mint in Cilicia, Syria, or Northern Mesopotamia. Diademed head of Antiochos VII to right; behind, star. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟY - EYEPΓETOY Nike advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand; in outer left field, two monograms. SC 2093 corr. (star not noted) and pl. 34 (same obverse die). Extremely rare and interesting. Some horn silver on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
