LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.58 g, 9 h). Head of Apollo Karneios to right, wearing horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. Eagle standing right, head turned back to left, within linear square. Bodenstedt 104. SNG Copenhagen 316. SNG von Aulock 1727. A lustrous and beautiful example. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.
