ATTICA. Athens. Circa 460-455 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.18 g, 8 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr -. Svoronos pl. 10, 13 (same dies). Very rare, an unusual issue. Very fine.

A very unusual feature of this particular reverse die is that the left leaf of the olive sprig is pointing diagonally to the back of the owl rather than vertically to its tail.
