THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 344-337 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 5.95 g, 5 h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly to left, wearing ampyx, pendant earring and necklace. Rev. ΛΑΡΙΣ-ΑΙΩΝ Horse right, preparing to roll over; below, trident pointing down to right. BCD Thessaly II 322. Rare with the trident symbol below the horse. A sharp and very attractive coin. Somewhat porous, otherwise, extremely fine.
