Extremely rare and of great historical interest, the last issue of a Mamluk Sultan of Egypt. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.

Al-Ashraf Tumanbay II was the last ruler of the Mamluk Sultanate of Egypt. Our coin was struck in the short time period between the Battle of Marj Dabiq on 24 August 1516 and the capture and hanging of Tumanbay on 15 April 1517.
