An attractive antoninianus of Carausius with a bold portrait

Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Bronze, 23 mm, 4.51 g, 7 h), 'C' mint (Camulodunum?). IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right. Rev. PROVID AVG / S - P / C Providentia standing front, head to left, holding globe in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. Cohen 260 var. (not draped). RIC 510. A lovely example with a particularly bold portrait. Minor flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
