SICILY. Kamarina. Circa 420-405 BC. Tetras (Bronze, 14 mm, 3.00 g, 12 h). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. KAMA Owl standing left, head facing, holding lizard in his right talon; in exergue, three pellets (mark of value). SNG ANS 1225-7. Westermark & Jenkins 194. A lovely example with a very attractive obverse. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
