L. Aemilius Lepidus Paullus, 62 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 4.00 g, 5 h), Rome. PAVLLVS LEPIDVS CONCORDIA Veiled and diademed head of Concordia to right. Rev. TER / [PA]VLLV[S] Trophy; to left, King Perseus of Macedon and his two sons as captives standing right; to right, Paullus standing front, head to left, placing his right hand on trophy. Babelon (Aemilia) 10. Crawford 415/1. RBW 1497. Sydenham 926. Beautifully toned. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, about extremely fine.
