Anonymous, circa 225-214 BC. Quadrigatus - Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.74 g, 12 h), Rome. Laureate head of Janus. Rev. ROMA (in relief within linear frame) Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt with his right hand and holding scepter in his left, in quadriga right driven by Victory. Crawford 28/3. RBW 63. Sydenham 65. A very well centered and beautifully toned example. A few very minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
