KINGS OF PARTHIA. Meherdates, Usurper, 49/50. Drachm (Silver, 22 mm, 3.54 g, 1 h), Ekbatana. Diademed and draped facing bust of Meherdares between two stars. Rev. Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; below bow, monogram. Sellwood 67.1 (Vonones II). Shore 368 (Vonones II). Sunrise 417-8. A lustrous and sharply struck example. Slightly porous and the obverse struck somewhat off center as usual, otherwise, virtually as struck.
