ATTICA. Athens. Circa 475-465 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.15 g, 11 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group II.C. Svoronos pl. 9, 1. Beautifully toned and of splendid early classical style. Good very fine.
