UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Early 3rd to mid 4th centuries. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 2.50 g, 1 h), Taman Peninsula, stage 1, imitating Marcus Aurelius (161-180). IXNIOIIIIIIIIΛΛHXIO Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. IIIIIVΛIIICIIZΛOΛIIIOIII Uncertain draped male figure standing front, head to left, raising his right hand in salute and placing his left on cross with four pellets in angles. Sergeev -, cf. 280 ff.
