A rare and unusually attractive late hemidrachm from Olympia

ELIS. Olympia. Circa 260s-250s BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.69 g, 10 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. F - A Eagle, with closed wings, standing right on Ionic capital. BCD Olympia 222 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen 387 (same dies). SNG Delepierre 2152 (same obverse die). Rare. Lightly toned and with a very attractive late head of Zeus. Struck from the usual somewhat worn reverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
