THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 5.98 g, 9 h). Thessalos, with trailing petasos and cloak, striding left, wrestling a rushing bull. Rev. ΛAPI-ΣAIA Horse galloping right with trailing rein; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1128. BCD Thessaly II 173. Lorber, Thessalian 52. Beautifully toned and with a fine pedigree. About extremely fine.
