Carausius, Romano-British Emperor, 286-293. Antoninianus (Bronze, 25 mm, 4.48 g, 7 h), 'C' mint (Camulodunum). IMP CARAVSIVS P AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right. Rev. COMES AVG Victory standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond in her left. RIC 200. An exceptional example, very well struck on a broad flan and with a superb glossy patina. Good extremely fine.
