SICILY. Himera. Circa 430-420 BC. Hemilitron or Hexonkion (Bronze, 27 mm, 31.89 g). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. Six pellets (mark of value). CNS I, 23. HGC 2, 472. Kraay, Himera, pl. VI, 6. An unusually attractive example with a beautiful green patina. Good very fine.
