C•ANTIVS•C•F Hercules, nude but for lion skin draped over his left arm, walking right, holding club in his right hand and trophy in his left. Babelon (Antia) 2. Crawford 455/2b. RBW 1594. Sydenham 971. Rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Lustrous, lightly toned, and undoubtedly among the finest known. Virtually as struck.
