SASANIAN KINGS. Bahram II, with Queen and Prince 4, 276-293. Drachm (Silver, 27 mm, 4.13 g, 3 h), uncertain 'central' mint. Jugate draped busts of Bahram II, wearing winged crown with korymbos, and his queen, wearing kolah with boar’s head, to right, facing draped bust of Prince 4 to left, wearing kolah with eagle’s head. Rev. Fire altar flanked by two attendants looking outward; fravahr to left of flames. Göbl pl. 4, 59 var. SNS type VIa(1)/2(1a). Sunrise -. Nicely toned. Some edge chipping, otherwise, very fine.
