KINGS OF ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires V, circa 54/3-33/2 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 28 mm, 11.20 g, 12 h), Seleukeia on the Hedyphon, SE 272 = 41/40. Diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V to left, wearing long beard and torque; to right, star above anchor symbol. Rev. BACIΛEΩC - KAMNACKIPOY - TOY EΓ BACIΛEΩC - KAΠNACKIPOY Diademed and draped bust of Kamnaskires V to left; below chin, monogram; in exergue, BOΣ. Alram -, cf. 463 (without monogram and date). Van’t Haaff Type 9.1, - (unlisted date). A very rare variety. A few minor scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
