CNG attributes this issue to 'Themistokles (?)', stating that it fits well into the coinage of Themistokles and Archepolis as described by Nollé and Wenniger. However, the letters on the example in Leu Web Auction 4 (2018), 269 do not resemble the monograms of Themistokles or Archepolis, and the lack of a dotted square border and the style of the eagle point, in this cataloguer's opinion, to a somewhat later date. It is, in any case, a highly interesting issue and certainly worthy of further research
