A very rare tetradrachm from Akanthos

MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 470-430 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.33 g, 4 h). Lion right, attacking a bull kneeling left, head upraised; in exergue, tunny swimming to left. Rev. AKA-N-ΘIO-N Raised quadripartite square surrounded by inscription; all within shallow incuse square. CNG 103 (2016), 113. Desneux -, cf. 96 and 99 (unlisted dies). A very rare variety. Perfectly centered and attractive. Very fine.
