BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. Stater (Silver, 29 mm, 7.62 g, 12 h). ϘΡΟ Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet, and with three handles and snakes rising from the bowl. Rev. Same type as the obverse, but incuse and without the legend. HN Italy 2075. SNG ANS 227-234. A sharply struck and nicely toned example. Very minor flan faults, otherwise, extremely fine.
