MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 550-500 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 9 mm, 2.66 g). Facing head of Silenos; at sides, two tunnies upward. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG Paris 208. SNG von Aulock 7269. Von Fritze I 77. Very rare. A lovely piece of vigorous Archaic style. Minor marks and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
