ITALY. Amalfi. Mansone, Vicedux of Amalfi, circa 1077/8-1096. Follaro (Bronze, 24 mm, 2.26 g). Facing bust between two crosses. Rev. [M]AN/[SO VICE/DVX] in three lines. Cf. MEC 14, 124 (with stars instead of crosses). Very rare. Overstruck on an uncertain earlier type and somewhat corroded, otherwise, nearly fine.
