Short cross within circular border; around, blundered KЄ BOHΘ PIKAP ΔΩ ('Lord, help Richard' in Greek). Malloy 6. Metcalf, Richard Class 3. Porteous 5. Very rare. Minor deposits and with traces of overstriking, otherwise, very fine.


From a collection of Arab-Byzantine and Crusader coins, formed in the 1990s.


This coin was overstruck on an earlier follis from Edessa.
