D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodosius II facing slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield decorated with horseman attacking a fallen foe over his left shoulder. Rev. GLOR ORVIS TERRAR / TES[O]B Emperor standing facing, holding labarum in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left; to left, star. Depeyrot 51/1. RIC 362. With a scrape on the obverse and some weakness on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
